Liz Evans

Liz Evans is a British journalist, author, psychotherapist, and academic researcher currently based in Tasmania. Her features and interviews have appeared in a broad selection of magazines, newspapers, academic journals and digital platforms around the world, including The Guardian, NME, i-D, New Statesman, Elle, Dumbo Feather, Lunch Lady, TasWeekend, Island Magazine and Womankind, and she has published two books on women and rock culture. 

An experienced broadcaster and facilitator, Liz has presented her work at academic conferences and cultural events in London, Dublin, Hobart and Sydney, and has been awarded a 2021 Varuna Residential Fellowship and the 2022 Pitch Me Varuna Fellowship for her fiction.
